Continuing with our series of Sancochos, our fifth edition is for the vegetable kingdom. In a delicate broth made out of dashi, dried shiitake mushrooms and all kind of herbs, you will find yucca, potato, corn on the cobb, carrot, sunchokes and white beech mushrooms.

Pisillo is a traditional way of cooking fish in Venezuela, usually to make empanadas and arepas by the beach. This technique gives you a well seasoned and thinly shredded fish - in this case monkfish- cooked in a juicy sofrito base. Our Monkfish pisillo is layered with avocado slices.
